PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY. 

Your access to and use of materials and services by Yan Li (the “Company”) and provided on this website (https://movingstillness.teachable.com, the “Site”) is subject to the following Terms of Use (“Terms” or “Agreement”) and all applicable laws. You will be referred to as “You” or “Student” or “User” in this document. 


I. Informed Consent and Waiver of Liability

By enrolling voluntarily in a Tai Chi (Taijiquan) or Qi Gong (Qigong) course or signing up for a Tai Chi or Qi Gong coaching session on the Site, you understand and agree: 

  1. that Tai Chi or Qi Gong, known for improving overall health, is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment; 
  2. that you alone are responsible for deciding whether to practice Tai Chi or Qi Gong, and to the extent you deem advisable, will consult a physician before participating in any of the activities; 
  3. that as is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated, and that you are responsible for monitoring Your own condition throughout the activities. 

By signing up for a coaching session, regardless of topics or content of coaching, you understand and agree: 

  1. that coaching is not the same as, and cannot substitute, professional counseling or therapy, and to the extent you deem advisable, you are responsible for seeking help from a licensed counselor, therapist, or healthcare provider. 

By freely and voluntarily using course materials or coaching services provided on the Site or in person, You agree that the Company, including its appointed instructors and associates, shall not be liable for any kind of loss, injury, claim, or damages resulting from Your use of the course materials and coaching services.


II. Copyright

You agree that the Site and all its content including curricula, videos, sound recordings, photos, graphic or text documents, services and/or other materials (collectively referred to as the “Content”) are provided for your personal use and information and are the property of the Company and its associates including guest instructors unless otherwise noted. No Site Content may be reproduced or distributed for public or commercial purposes without the express written permission by the Company. 


III. Refund

1. Courses. Per Teachable’s Terms of Use, all Students purchasing courses or course bundles at Moving Stillness through the Teachable gateway are entitled to a thirty (30) day refund from the date of purchase. Once a refund is processed, you will no longer be enrolled in that course and your access to the course materials will be removed.

2. Coaching. Per Teachable’s Terms of Use, coaching services and bundles that include coaching are not refundable. 


IV. Privacy

Your use of the courses and services provided on the Site is subject to our Privacy Policy.


V. Changes to the Terms of Use

Moving Stillness may review and update this Agreement at any time in our sole discretion and it is Your responsibility to stay informed of those changes. All changes are effective immediately when posted and apply to all uses of the courses and coaching services thereafter.
