Warmup 热身

These warmup exercises are actually part of a larger sequence of Taijiquan elemental training. It can be practiced as a set or you can pick out individual sections based on your own needs.

We will be mostly doing a basic set in the course, and I will provide more thorough instructions in the beginning sessions. Later in the course we will spend less time in class on warmups.

This warmup set includes:

  • neck rotation
  • shoulder rotation
  • waist rotation and hip rotation
  • spine stretch & shake (NEW)
  • knee rotation and ankle rotation
  • Dantian shake
